AN1: An asexual is someone who does not experience sexual arousal.
AN2: I am assuming that Mr. Collins has Aspergers, and my portrayal of how that affects his sexuality is taken from So Odd a Mixture: Along the Autistic Spectrum in Pride and Prejudice by Phyllis Ferguson Bottomer, an excellent work on both Autism and Aspergers, and on Pride and Prejudice, which I cannot recommend highly enough whether you're interested in the autistic spectrum or P&P.
