Good luck!

Date: 2018-03-21 03:25 pm (UTC)From:You DRAMATICALLY overestimate the population density in the area and the size of the town.
I live in the second-largest town in the county. My tax guy is in the largest town in the county, the county seat, which has about three times the population of the town I live in. It is too small for an office supply place, but it is large enough to have more than one restaurant! The nearest office supply place is an hour's drive away.
Fortunately, while I personally do not possess a printer, my church has one, and it is right across the street. So I grumbled, put clothes back on, and went across to prints stuff out.
Then I found that not all of the charities I donate to sent a yearly notification of "this is how much you gave over the course of the whole year in one handy sheet to do your taxes with." Instead, some of them just ... sent an email for each monthly $10 donation. Faced with printing out a large number of emails, I went back home disgusted and decided I would just forget about it.
Then this morning, my tax guy points out that as long as you're below a $250 threshold, you can just tell him how much you gave to a non-profit and don't need to give him the paperwork to prove it.
