More on the Atlantis season opener
Jul. 24th, 2006 02:31 pmOkay, there's been a lot of talk on the net apparently about the ethics of Atlantis recently, and I missed a lot of it due to vacation. So, rather than rehashing everything, I'm just going to say that if you've been fuming about the subject, you need to go check out
sundara's post and
zabbers's post. Between them, they set up the major points.
Also, there's a clip from A Dog's Breakfast on YouTube. A Dog's Breakfast is the indie film David Hewlett (McKay from Atlantis) made starring at least half his fellow SG actors, plus his sister who will be guest starring in an episode of Atlantis this season. The clip doesn't show much about the movie itself, so I can't judge that. What is hilarious, however, is that in this scene they're watching a movie-within-a-movie, some really cheesy sf show starring Paul McGillion (Dr. Beckett on SG:A) and Rachel Luttrell (Teyla Emmagen on SG:A). And the set looks suspiciously like the Daedalus set ...
