Entertainment Weekly just came out with a list of the top 25 Sci-fi moments (well, in the media, anyway) of the last twenty-five years. I would order things a bit differently, but overall it's fairly decent. I have a few quibbles, though: first, they don't mention Stargate SG-1 (the longest-running genre show in American history) but they have room for two Voerhoven pieces of $^!& (Starship Troopers and Total Recall)? And I've been a Sci-Fi fan my entire life, the child of two sci-fi fans and the sister of another, how is it that I have never even heard of number six on their list?
