Good point about how cut off Lesley is, and how that affects her; but at the same time, she chooses not to make new connections. She had the ability to make friends in the demi-monde; Zach and Beverly honestly and genuinely didn't care about her face, and connected her to more people like them. She chose the Faceless Man instead. It's not just that she was cut off from her old connections; she deliberately rejected both the remnants of her old life (Peter, being a cop) and the possibility of a new one as part of the demi monde that she had been starting to build.
