Have just been going through the prompts/requests for this year's
rarewomen and making a list of which ones I might be interested in writing for. And, yet again, the only ones that made it onto my list were the ones that had actual prompts attached. A blank slate might be helpful for your assigned ficcer (although I personally always like some guidance as to my recipients taste), but doesn't have anything to attract me when I'm paging through the list looking for inspiration. I may love the characters and fandom you request, but if I had a plot bunny for them ready to go, I would already have written it.
I have been in a writing slump for a year or so and am trying to get myself out of it. We'll see how this goes.
