Star Trek Holidays is Open!
Dec. 21st, 2019 08:07 pmThe Star Trek Holiday Exchange of 2019 is open! And there are a TON of really good fics there, so many, and it seems to me that average word count is higher than I normally expect for a ficathon with a minimum word count of 1k words. You should go read them all, they are awesome.
I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend the fic I received.
Day of Honour, by Anonymous. Worf/Deanna, with appearances by Alexander and Martok. Rated Teen.
The other standout fic out of what I've read so far, in my humble opinion:
Teatime Stories, by Anonymous. Gen, 5k words, Spock and T'Pol. When Spock needs a friend, T'Pol is there.
I love it, the story is wonderful, the characterization is great, and so are all the little details.
Read those two, and then go through the whole collection, there are so many wonderful creations.
Also, see if you can guess which one I wrote!

Worf never expected Deanna to pretend to know less than she did. It was one of the things she liked best about him. And it was the reason that she could turn to him after Alexander had gone to sleep and say, “You are uncomfortable about the upcoming Batlh jaj festival.”
It is incredible. The relationship between Worf and Deanna is so well done, you should give it a shot even if you don't ship them. All of the characters are so well written. Also! the worldbuilding and the way the author handles the three cultures involved (Klingon, Human, and Betazoid) is excellent. The other standout fic out of what I've read so far, in my humble opinion:
