This is a wonderful AU, I love the way Laura is written--too often, when she's in a fic, she's the manic pixie girl to get Derek and Stiles together. This is just perfect, and I wish there was a sequel! It's interesting to see the ways that Derek's presence changes things in canon--and not just the fact that Laura survives, but other things, as well.
