fancake is a wonderful multifandom rec community based around monthly themes.  It's one of my favorite places to find new fic, actually; the general quality of fics recced is pretty high, there's a lot of different shows that get recced, and whenever I'm in the mood for a certain type or trope of fic, they have a good collection of recs.  The current round of reccing is for historical AUs (i.e. AUs where the characters are in an earlier time period, like a Regency AU or a Wild West AU or some such).  If you have some historical AUs that you know that are awesome, please come and share them!
