Torchwood Fic I will Never Write

speedgeek, and was reminded of a post-COE story I have bits of in my head that I'm never going to write. So here the synopsis is, for your amusement.
A while after COE (fifty years? A hundred? idk) some nasty people want info out of Jack Harkness for some reason. They torture him, but he's been tortured by the best, and doesn't break, and then take him back to Earth, and throw a bunch of random people in with him and start torturing them to get Jack to give them what he wants, and he's like, I'm sorry these people are hurting, I wish I could stop it, but why do you think that saving them will be more important to me than saving myself? Turns out they're all descendents of his--a century on Earth, most of it before reliable birth control, Steven wasn't the only one.
Anyway, it's never getting written, but there it is.
