Aug. 15th, 2006 07:50 pmOookay. They're trying to sexy up Atlantis, I get it. It's like they did with SG-1 in season 7, when Teal'c and Daniel started wearing muscle shirts (which I heartily approved of, by the way. I don't mind eye candy, as long as it's equal opportunity eyecandy). And Atlantis is now in regular contact with Earth, they can bring stuff over like more clothes. I liked Shep's new leather jacket (though I wasn't sure why he was wearing it on duty). This, though:
cracks me up. As the Gateworld.net caption says, "Ah, it's tough being so brilliant." ::snicker:: The pic is taken from an upcoming episode, but there's no spoilers in it (beyond the leather).
BTW. For some reason, ratings for both Stargate shows are way lower than they were last year, so everyone needs to make sure they watch the shows' first runs, and try and get everyone you know to watch too. Though, this week's episode of SG-1 may not be the best introduction to the show--it's the show's 200th episode, and from the descriptions, it's pretty much a straight crack!fic. Except as an episode. It'll be cool if you know the show, if you don't ... maybe not so much.
