Thank you! Yes, sometimes I think the humans on SG-1 forget (and I know the fans forget) that Teal'c, when the show started, was around a century old. As in, sixty years older than O'Neill, who was in his forties, and probably around forty or fifty years older than Hammond. And then there were those fifty years on board the Odyssey. The ten to fifteen year spread between the human members of SG-1 is nothing. Not that Teal'c would ever necessarily bring it up, but I've got to assume that there are times when Teal'c looks at his friends and thinks, "I can't believe you just did that but I am willing to ignore it because you're too young to know better."

And I love fic where everyone is smart and competent, and has a real and important part to play.
