My last and quickest-written Yuletide fic, another treat.  And the one that got far and away the most comments!  I guess people really love Timov.

Summary: All Timov wants to do is live quietly. With Cartagia on the throne, that may not be an option.

( When rumors began to spread about Cartagia's madness, Timov discounted them. )

This one is on my to-read list, which I always hope to get through before author reveals and never, ever do. But it is indeed on there because I *love* Timov, so I am not surprised other people do too.
