It's a Small World After All ...
So, now that I'm home for Christmas, I've been entering all my books at home into LibraryThing. Out of curiosity, I checked the "Members with your books" widget. With all my books at seminary entered in but nothing else (as was the case until I came home), the top two people with my books were fellow classmates. With almost all of my library entered in, they're still the top two people with my books. Number 3 I don't know. And number 4 on the list is, drumroll please,
jedibuttercup. Whose fanfic I've been a fan of for a long time, and who is my mutual friend on LJ. And who lives probably within a half-hour drive of my home, though we've never actually met in person.

Wow, 83 in common. Fun to page through and see where the overlap is; lots of Star Trek, Star Wars, college-y works, and a smattering of favorite fantasty and sci-fi.
And while we're on the subject of praise: I have to say, your "What a Father Is" remix still rates as the best gift I've ever received in a fic exchange. =)
We really should try and meet up for coffee sometime. The time just seems to keep slipping away from me.

And, while that remix was one of my more frustrating fics to write, it's one of my favorite of my own fics now that it's finished.
