Just FYI, the way you described Christianity isn't an accurate reflection of all denominations of the religion. As it says in James 2:14, "[F]aith by itself, if it has no works, is dead." The corporal works of mercy described throughout Christ's teachings are additional examples of ways people who follow Him are expected to express their faith: clothe the naked, feed the hungry, visit the sick and imprisoned, etc.
I'm bringing this up to you because I know you care about representation and accuracy. Saying something like "in some denominations of Christianity, belief is prioritized over deeds" doesn't erase the faith of people like me, while still getting your point across. Thanks for listening.
