Thank you for such a glowing review! My worry about John Connor is that he's lived his whole life under the shadow of Judgment Day. That's a lot of strain, for a long time. You can't do it constantly without running off the rails somehow, certainly not as a teenager with all those hormones running through you and your brain not fully developed yet. He's been incredibly "together" throughout this season--I just hope he's not gearing up to lose it spectacularly now.

Having lost so many people in his life, knowing he's eventually going to lose everyone ... it's always made perfect sense that he's so attached to Cameron (and to the Schwarzenegger terminator from T2, before her). Humans are very fragile. Metal isn't. They'll probably last longer. And John Connor needs that kind of stability.
