Things wot you should check out:

First, Destiny Calling is an incredibly cool vid (link goes to the splash page). It's a multifandom superhero vid by charmax to "Destiny Calling" by James. It's high quality, the editing is superb, the clips are well-chosen, and the music fits like you wouldn't believe. It's got clips from Fantastic Four, The Incredibles, X-Men, Superman Returns, Spiderman, Batman Begins, and Daredevil. I cannot rec this vid highly enough. (You might also check out her DW vid "Don't Stop Me Now," a Master vid, it's great. But not as incredibly awesome as Destiny Calling.)



The other thing that you should check out is mistful's fanfic. She is an awesome writer who is making the transition to pro fic writer (her first book is coming out soon), and as such her fanfic will soon be taken down. On October 6 she's going to take down the stuff online and replace it with a pdf with all her fic for download, and I don't know how long that will be up, but you really have to go see her stuff before it's all gone. She writes mostly HP, but don't let that scare you if you're not a fan. My favorite of hers is Drop Dead Gorgeous, a futurefic AU where Harry and Draco are both Aurors, partnered together because nobody else can stand them. And then they find out that Harry is part Veela, and the hijinks begin. It's hysterically funny, but it's a comedy with a heart. If slash isn't your thing (it's not mine) read it anyway. There's no explicit sex, and the story is awesome.
